Soft-shell Crab Farm

The farm is located not far away from Amphoe Khlung Pier. It uses floating cages to raise the crab with watergates allowing natural water to nurture the farm of the blue crab imported from Yangon, Myanmar. A new crop of 700 crabs will be poured into baskets to be easy to feed as well as to check the natural shedding of the shell, which takes only 2-3 hours then it will become hard again. The farm sets its clock to supervise every 4 hours.

To separate crabs that are ready to peel relies on observation techniques, by the colour of its legs and abdomen which will help lessen the cost of farming. The farm demonstrates its business inside-out, so visitors can witness the process from the beginning to raising until harvesting, as well as have a chance to enjoy hand-on feeding the tiny pieces of fish to the crabs.

The farm offers a restaurant cooking with fresh ingredients directly from its own source. The freshness is beyond doubt, and its taste is perfect.

The farm also provides the farming of other sea creatures: snapper, grouper fish, sea-catfish, and oyster. Therefore, visitors can enjoy all sea farming at one site, as well as tasting fresh seafood.
